    Each year we operate 'Jarvis Future Talent', our internal training & development programme aimed at our new recruits within the previous 12 months.

    Our APE (Above Performance Expectation) Award is issued quarterly across the business, this allows our employees to nominate a colleague who has gone above and beyond their role.

  • Interact
    Each quarter, an Interact meeting is held, this forum allows employees to submit questions and suggestions to the Senior Executive Team as well as have a voice in up & coming initiatives.

Physical Wellbeing

  • Eye Examination – Employees are entitled to have eye examinations and we contribute towards the cost of spectacles (if required for VDU use).
  • Flu Vaccinations – Employees have the opportunity to have flu vaccinations, which Jarvis will pay for (if applicable).

Mental Health Wellbeing

  • Employee Assistance Program (EAP) – Staff have access to a confidential and impartial advice service (operated by a third party), irrespective of the root cause.
  • Mental Health First Aiders (MHFAs) – We have a number of MHFAs within the business to support individuals in distress, and guide them to any relevant services for help.

Financial Benefits

  • Interest Free Loan – After 12 months employment, an interest free loan can be applied for.
  • Staff Referral Scheme – Employees can receive up to £1500 for referring a potential new member of staff to the Jarvis Group (and are offered a permanent role).
  • Holiday Purchase Scheme - Staff can purchase an additional 5 days holiday (for the following holiday year) to add to their annual entitlement.

Learning & Development

We’re passionate about the development of our people, and know it’s a reason why they join and stay at Jarvis. We invest a lot in our staff, not just because it’s the right thing to do, but we know it makes a big difference to how successful we are.

Our approach to learning and development is based on the organisational skills, knowledge and behaviours that are needed to support what we do. We encourage all staff to have a Personal Development Plan (PDP), which identifies key areas of learning and development to enable new, or develop existing skills and behavioural attributes.
