We were contracted by Tesco to undertake the conversion of existing space to create a state-of-the-art National Security Hub at Tesco Daventry Distribution Centre.
Work was undertaken on an existing 2,000m2 mezzanine. Originally used for wine storage, this facility was altered to allow the housing of 112 members of staff, and will be used to monitor security within the entire business.
The facility remains independent from the warehouse operation and is enclosed by a composite fire wall extending to the 18m high roof. All work was carried out within a live environment and involved numerous crane lifts within the warehouse.
