As a conscientious and community-focused contractor, social responsibility is embedded within our culture. This has always been at the core of everything we do and is actively embraced throughout the delivery of each project.
We hold a much wider responsibility than simply delivering stunning buildings, and aim to leave a positive legacy within the communities in which we work, whilst also reducing the impact from our operations on the planet.
This is delivered through employment opportunities, community initiatives, charitable work, local sponsorship etc. Wider climate emergency issues are addressed through an achievable sustainability plan, working towards our commitment of being Net Zero Carbon by 2040 (as set-out in our One Planet Pledge).
We have a social responsibility to help and support the communities we operate within, and provide careers advice and mentoring to people from disadvantaged backgrounds, work experience and apprenticeship opportunities.
In 2020 we signed the Social Mobility Pledge, outlining our steps to boost opportunity and social mobility, and we operate a transparent employee recruitment process to ensure a level playing field.
