This is an award winning mixed use development project, located in a prominent conservation area within the town centre of Harpenden. It was built to a very high quality standard and most of the homes were sold off-plan.
The 3 phased scheme, built on a former industrial estate, required careful planning and co-ordination due to the close proximity of residential and commercial buildings. Tucked away behind the main High Street, the development comprises of 19 luxury apartments, 3 mews style cottages, offices, a retail centre and an underground car park.
The construction consists of a reinforced in-situ concrete frame with an external cavity brick and block skin, and a steel frame with timber infill roof with clay tiles.
