Christopher qualified as a Solicitor in 1990, becoming a partner at Warren Murton solicitors of Holborn in 1994.
In his first twenty years, much of Christopher’s practice involved sports law, aviation law, film and general commercial work. This included acting for the Lawn Tennis Association, a major film producer, and also one of the largest manufacturers of private aircraft in the world, in addition to numerous smaller, mainly family-owned businesses.
During his career, he has advised extensively on corporate governance and regulatory matters (in particular compliance requirements). Christopher’s experience is multi-jurisdictional and his work has extended to advising clients in the USA, Hong Kong, Singapore and Malaysia.
Since 2010 his practice has focused increasingly on private client work, with a particular emphasis on family tax planning.
Christopher’s association with Jarvis Group dates back to the late 1980s, and he has been Non-executive Director since 2008. In addition, he is also a Director and Chairman of a large tennis club in South London, and provides corporate support for a number of his clients businesses.
