Jarvis Contracting

Following the recent successful completion of Magenta Court in Apsley, Jarvis Contracting are delighted that Dacorum Borough Council have awarded us the contract to deliver the Eastwick Row scheme, in the Adeyfield area of the Borough, their latest development within Hemel Hempstead.

The project will complement the two existing 1960s tower buildings, with a modern-day 7-storey building consisting of 34no, 1 and 2-bed apartments, which will include some wheelchair accessible units and two further 3-bed houses, with associated car parking for the development and community open spaces. The site will also be landscaped to include a significant number of trees set in the grassland, providing a screening to the development from the busy carriageway.

Mark Doyle, CEO said “Jarvis are extremely pleased to be able to continue to build on the excellent working relationship that we have developed over recent years with Dacorum Borough Council, through the acclaimed scheme at Kylna Court in Maylands and more recently, Magenta Court in Apsley. The Eastwick Row project is another striking development, creating high quality new homes that will support the Council’s core Building for the Future strategy delivering exceptional new homes”.

Jarvis will start engaging with the local residents, community groups and stakeholders ahead of any initial construction activity, such as securing the site, survey, ecological and all access works needed to allow the site to be set up properly, before any meaningful construction works take place.

As a genuinely considerate constructor, Jarvis have given a lot of thought how the delivery of this project can be carried out without disruption to the local residents, and this is something that will be explained in more detail as we get closer to occupying the site next year.
