Following a meticulous vetting procedure, Jarvis was selected to tender this project which was the construction of a contemporary two-storey church.
The new building accommodates a 375 seat, fully equipped modern auditorium and various ancillary spaces for community facilities such as a café, crèche, children’s and youth rooms, plus additional business/social meeting rooms and church administrative offices. It has DDA access, lifts and highly sophisticated and energy efficient M&E services.
The grounds have been landscaped and 100 car parking spaces provided. Construction comprises a steel frame with masonry areas clad in a mixture of facing brick and render. The church has aluminium windows and a metal Kalzip roof system.
The church’s Project Oliver has raised funds to supplement existing funds needed to build and manage the Church on an ongoing basis.
